Aspen Skiing Co. Launches Branded Ski Wear Line Inspired by Staff Uniforms
Aspen Skiing Co. is expanding into the ski wear business selling Aspen Snowmass branded outerwear inspired by its new employee uniforms.
Skico worked with its employees to create custom uniforms for all of its staff for 2021-2022. Ski patrollers, ski and snowboard school instructors, and mountain operations workers voiced their needs and this input influenced the design of the new uniforms.
For the first time, Skico will offer a line of outerwear for sale to its customers. The line features the Skico aspen leaf logo.
“Our guests often ask our ski and snowboard school professionals about their gear, so we launched the inaugural ASPENX Ajax line to offer a version of our professional pieces to our loyal Aspen Snowmass skiers and riders,” Erin Sprague, Director of the mark for Skico, said in a press release.
The Ajax line for the public will include the Ajax jacket, insulation and pants.
“The kit includes personalized artwork of Paula Crown on the jacket’s inner lining,” Skico said in a press release. “The Ajax line embodies the performance, experience and lifestyle of one of the iconic destinations in the world. “
The Ajax jacket will cost $ 725 while the pants will cost $ 525. Insulation costs $ 395. They all come in black.
The line will be sold in a new ASPENX retail space that will open in Gondola Square as well as some of the Skico Four Mountain Sports stores and online from December 1.
