Gurugramintegrated real estate startup square yards integrated more 5,000 co-branded stores in the eight largest cities in India thanks to its Privileged partnership program designed for independent real estate agents and small agencies.

These partners will have privileged access to all products in the Square Yards ecosystem, such as the exclusive Category A developer inventory, the mortgage platform, furnishings and property management services.

Tanuj Shori, Founder and CEO of Square Yards, mentionned,

“These agents are placed in a proprietary gamified algorithm where they are scored on several parameters such as the quality of their lists, interactions with customers, reports on transactions and platform activities. “We are building a business completely aligned with the smaller agents who have been underserved by industry innovation. When agents are successful, we are successful. That’s why we’re committed to delivering breakthrough technologies and marketing solutions to help agents work smarter and faster.

In a statement, the real estate company said that there are almost 1.5 million independent real estate agents in India which contribute about 70 percent of new home sales, nearly 100 percent of existing home sales and 80 percent of all rental transactions in the country. These agents play a very critical and central role in the real estate transaction, but they have neither the technological expertise nor inexpensive marketing solutions to thrive, the statement added.

Square Yards agent technology claims to have opened up a new arena for independent real estate professionals, allowing them to market their listings, research market platform demand, have their own custom websites with reviews and ratings, manage teams through an integrated CRM, facilitate online agreements via digital escrow, electronic payments and electronic signature and also interact with other brokers via integrated social networking features.

In addition to this, agents are able to offer ancillary products like home loans, furnishings and property management, helping them to provide points of contact to their clients in the property purchase process and also to generate good income for themselves on top of what they earn from just selling or renting properties, the company said.
