VIZIO Launches New ‘Hear Like They Do’ Digital Advertising Campaign for Award-Winning Soundbars | Business

In “Hear Like They Do”, David & Goliath’s latest creative campaign for VIZIO, we get a glimpse into the lives of three very different, almost human dogs, captivated by the immersive sound quality of VIZIO soundbars as they sit and stay in for a TV night. The campaign includes three 20-second digital videos that capture moments of nostalgia, intrigue and suspense in front of the television: “French Lover,” a heart-wrenching romantic film; “Crime Boss”, a popular thriller; and “The Kicker”, a nail-breaking game from a football game.

Working with photographer Shawn Michienzi, David & Goliath captured still images of dogs immersed in televised action. They then teamed up with the visual effects experts at Jamm to bring the couch canine potatoes to life through animation.

Additional campaign elements include 15-second versions of the digital videos, as well as social stats from the creative executions featuring the human-like dogs enthralled by the sounds emanating from their televisions.

To boost social engagement, VIZIO will also build on the trend of dog owners to post photos of their puppies on Instagram by calling on dogfluencers and animal accounts to share photos of their dogs watching TV. with the hashtag #HearLike TheyDo. The hashtag will help VIZIO identify more furry friends who may well become “famous dogs”.
